So I went in for my midcycle appt. He did a ultrasound and said I had one egg that was only 10mm. SO he didnot give me the shot. I have to go back in on Sunday to see if it is any bigger. He said that the follicles grow 2 mm. from now forward. so he is thinking that in 4 days it should be between 18-20mm,is that right? Also,he said that if they are not mature at that point that he will increase my clomid to 100mg. and start that on sunday. They will pretend that is day 3 again so I wllnot get my period first,is that normally how they do it?
On to my next question. If one egg is at 10mm. then if I need to do another round of clomid then won't it take wuicker for my egg to reach 20mm.? He wants me to take 5 days of clomid and then come in 5 days later for the unltrasound. Thats what you would do if the eggs were just starting to grow after your period,but here one of my eggs is half there.
I know a lot of q's in one question but I am hoping someone with experience can help me as I am new to this. What are my chances since I ma half there for it to reach full growth by Sunday? Is there anything I can do to help move them along? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Hi..sounds like you and I are kind of in a similar situation. i just took my first round of Clomid(50mg) on CD3-7. Today is CD12 and I went in for my ultrasound..my doctor found many small follicles on one of my ovaries but nothing that he would consider dominant or as large as he would like to see. So, he scheduled me to come back in on thursday to see if anything has developed further. He didn't say what he was going to do though if it hadn't. So frustrating!! UGH!! I went in there with the expectation that nothing had happened though, so although i am sad and disappointed now..I'm not as disappointed as I would have been if I had my hopes up expecting everything to work perfectly.
