Congrats!!! Hey...you sent me a pm and I somehow lost it...would you ask me the question again? Either here or on pm. I am so glad you got approved. It took me THREE times to get mine approved!! Kristi

Yay! I want to get a reduction, but I want to wait a few years and have babies first. Hopefully I will be able to get mine covered, but we will see. If not I will probably get it anyhow. I have a friend who got her's done and was able to get hers covered too.
Good luck to you!

Yeah for you, I would love to have a breast reduction too.
For those of you who said you had one, how big were you, and what did you go down to? You've said you're happy, were they better looking? I really want to have one done, after I finish breast feeding (hopefully). I have only gone up to about a G but I'm afraid once my milk comes in that it will only get worse, I can't find any bras as it is right now, any input would be great.

I had blue cross, and they approved mine, but I worried about it because they would never put it in writing, but they paid for all but $400 ($200 was my deductible). You need to have a referral from your physician. Any back pain, neck pain, headaches, rashes, etc. should also be noted. I also had intents from my bra straps. The plastic surgeon had to take pictures as well. I was a 38DD quickly becoming a DDD when I had my surgery. I went down to a 36C. I am now wearing a 40D, but I've also gained about 30 pounds since I had my surgery. I am now much more in proportion to the rest of my body. Mine are almost the same size (they weren't exact before). The scarring has now faded so much that you have to be looking for it to really notice it. I did lose a bit of sensation on one side, but most of it came back. The only problem I really had was some sharp, shooting pains for a couple of months as the nerves figured out what they were doing.
