Hi girls, Im on Actos, and i know there is a med called actos plus which is just actos and met, now i have a bunch of met left over from before, do you think it would cause any harm if i took some met with my actos? I dont feel like the actos is really doing anything but keeping me awake for 12 hrs at a time. any ideas girls?

I would definitely recommend asking your dr before you do this. What is the difference between Actos and Met? Do you know? Does the Actos help w/ weight loss?

I'd ask your pharmacist about it. I know that actos is sometimes prescribed when Met doesn't help. Not sure if it is something you could take w/Met.

the medication im refering too is Actos and Met together in one pill... one of the Drs i work with was telling me about it. i was just wondering if anyone else has heard of it... what is does is the actos works on a diff part of your body then the met... and together they help keep your sugers normal and they help you loose weight bc of that. no surges or drops. they are basicly doing the same thing just working on diff parts of your body. just like Advaina/met together. i was just look for some insite since my next dr appt isnt till may. thanks girls

I have heard of the actos plus met but didn't know what the benefits were. Thanks for the info.
