Default What about Chromium and Glucophage?

Hi,
I just joined this forum in hopes to find some support and information regarding PCOS. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and I have every single symptom and sign associated with PCOS. Ive had weight gain but I would not be considered obese, perhaps borderline overweight. I was prescribed Glucophage 3x/day only 3 days ago. For the first three days I am just doing one 500 in the morning and then ne 500 at night because I have read this might be a high dosage to start off with. I have yet to feel major headache and only slight nausea. I hear many people say that the side effects dont affect them until days or a week after they first start taking Met (Glucophage).
My other question I had was that I started taking Chromium supplements a month ago (stopped while on Met) and wonder if it is necessary to continue with them as well as the glucophage. Both seem to regulate insulin levels so I wonder if taking both will increase the effects, decrease or other possibiities.
Thanks!
