hi ladies,
i am going back to work on 9th of march, and a family friend of ours has agreed to look after DD.

i offered her about 650.00 a month w/out food included, and my friend said that is way expensive, cause her sister had a babysitter in brampton, ontario and she only charged around 550.00 and that included food.

so now i am confused as to what charge this lady, the lady said she spoke to a few of her friends and they said they get paid around $5.00 an hour.

anywhere from 5-10 dollars/hour here in northern alberta. maybe call one of the daycare companies and ask what they think would be reasonable?

Maybe Toronto is different than out here but I pay $3.50/hr for my sitter...I do work shift work so he is there at odd hours and for longer periods some days than others...

It is $150.00/week at a daycare centre around the corner from me full-time days.
