What is the best dosage of chromium?

my gynaecologist will not give me metformin and i have started taking chromium 500mg once a day. is this the best dosage or is there anything more effective?

The recommended dosage of Chromium is 400mcg per day (to be taken with meals)....GTF Chromium is considered safer to use.

You can also try N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC). It is supposed to sensitize your insulin as well. The recommended dose of NAC is 1.8 g/day or 3.0 g/day if you have a BMI over 29.
