Default What can we eat for breakfast.

I read that you're not suppose to consume calcium in any form for 4 hrs after you take your thyroid. I take armour. What do you eat? It seems like everything has or is fortifies with calcium. I was eating breakfast bars. Fortified with calcium. Then I switched to almonds because I had heard they are so good for you. And, they stayed with me until lunch. I added some raisins to balance with a few carbs. Then, read that almonds are a great source of calcium. I'm out of ideas. It has to be something I can take with me because I eat at work. I can't set my alarm for really early to take my armour because I have a sleep disorder and once I'm awake, no matter the time, I'm up for the day. Any ideas would be great!

I take my Synthroid before bed... I just can't seem to find the perfect breakfast either (and gave up trying.)

You CAN eat calcium etc. but you have to be consistent so your dose can adjust for this. You'll just need a little more med than you would without the calcium... just keep that in mind.

AND if you take your med on an empty stomach, you can eat an HOUR later.. not 4 hours later. (It's 4 hours AFTER eating that you take a pill if you have an afternoon dose.)
