i m newly pregnant n 4 weeks along what is the cervix supossed to be from early pregnancy can anyone tell me please

It varies with different people. Not every pregnant woman's cervix feels the same or is in the same position. Mine was always very high. I remembered when I checked right before I miscarried and it was super low. It was always VERY soft too.. but I used progesterone supplements which can do that. But again.. everyone's is different.

oh well mine feels high ans very soft and it is closed i was just wondering ifthat is typpical , normal - i mean i have miscarried before and im super stressed and afraid it will happen again - so anytime i can hearnormal i feel better lol but thank you so much - also does the cervix ever get this way if you are not pregnant >?:

When you are fertile and going to ovulate it is high and soft.. but open. High and soft is good for pregnancy.. but even if it gets low don't freak out. You can't base your pregnancy on your cervix. As long as it's closed that's good!

Yes, when I was pregnant I had a ton of creamy cm. My doctor said it was because I was on progesterone supplements.. but I have also noticed alot of other pg cysters with alot of cm.

You are NOT supposed to touch your cervix while pregnant. It can cause an infection. Stay away!!!

The only time my OB ever got firm with me about anything was when I asked him what my cervix should feel like because I checked it out. He also said that it can cause m/c or preterm labor.

I had to put progesterone supplements in everyday so I knew what it was like up there.
