Heya everyone. I'm transgender of sorts, but not really binary - more like an masculine/androgynous type depending on my mones . I'm beginning to think that doing a full gender transition would not be in my best interest.
But I do want the androgen dominance. Unlike most of you ladies, I want a beard, large clitoris, body hair, upper body strength. Shocking ain't it? I think that I could remain in the female social role and find more comfort with that hormone balance, compared to estrogen dominance. Come to think of it , I think it'd be kinda cool to have that kind of duality in life.
I was just diagnosed, and am thinking, what are the chances of having such high testosterone levels that I could get male features?
I went 10 mo's without a period, then had an real short one, got acne and some body hair, light facial fuzz. But no real noticable hair - I don't needa shave my face but I've got a kind of "preteen boy" mustache starting. And, upper body strength is improving without even doing anything! I found I could lift 30 lbs from behind my head!
So, what is the likelihood of that happening without hormone intervetion?
Good day cysters, brothers, cysterbrothers and jkfwfqa's
For facial hair, I would guess you could let it go on and on. I don't know if you could improve upper body strength beyond just working out. The big concern I would have is that you are at higher risk of uterine cancer by not shedding the lining. I am not sure how this is handled in trans men or if you would lose your masculine characteristics by inducing your cycle naturally or through BCP. I doubt that you will get the enlarged clitoris if it is not already there. I think you would best be serve by locating a provider who deals more with trans issues. I am not sure where you are located but the larger the city the better the chances.

So, if I'm understanding this, you basically want to worsen your PCOS so that you naturally increase your androgens? Yeah, I guess that could work. There are many women with severe PCOS who can grow beards and coarse body hair, however keep in mind that they are also at an increased long-term risk of diabetes, heart disease, and other conditions that can result from what is usually the root cause of PCOS (hyperinsulinemia). Not to mention the other presumably undesirable side effects (acne, weight gain) that would come with the increased androgens.

Hiya dude_chick.. I am a transguy and haven't even been started on Testoserone yet as my T is quite high, and I am very masculinised. I started shaving at 14 and am now almost 46 and it is so nice to finally let my beard grow, my voice dropped and I became more masculine in build at puberty.. never really had periods either, but had my endometrial lining lasered out when I developed really weird bleeding (75 days!!!).. if you do start T therapy and go through a gender clinic you will become more virilised and will get growth of your clitoris, muscle bulk etc... some butches/trans I know use herbal methods to try and boost their T...
I am a member of butch-femme.com and they have a whole thread on how to do it naturally, there is quite a bit of reading there... not sure if you will be able to see the thread without being a member but will post the link:

A lot depends on how sensitive your body is to testosterone.
That, in turn, can be determined fairly simply by looking at the relative lengths of your index and ring fingers which will give an indication of how your body was sensitized in the first three months of fetal life. If your ring (4th) fingers are longer than your index fingers, you've been sensitized to respond readily to testosterone, if your index fingers are longer than your ring fingers, then you're not very sensitive to testosterone. So, to put it simply, if your ring fingers are longer, then you're mich more likely to develop the sort of characteristics you want.
You've mentioned a lack of periods, having acne and a "preteen boy" moustache.
The acne certainly indicates a measure of testosterone sensitivity.
As far as the "preteen boy" moustache is concerned, that's common in women who are absolutely normal. Many of us here have full moustache and beard growth as heavy as many males.
You mention your desire for a large clitoris. You don't say how old you are, but the younger you are when the clitoris gets testosterone stimulation, the greater the chance of a large amount of development.
How big is your clitoris now? A normal clitoris can vary from almost invisible right up to the length of your thumb.
Is any of the underside of the shaft of your clitoris exposed?
Can you retract your foreskin over the glans of your clitoris?
How close to the underside of your clitoris is your urethra?
All these are relevant to what sort of development might be possible. It's not unknown for some (rare) women to have a penile urethra, but in such cases, the development has been before birth. Being realistic, the best chance of clitoral enlargement is in women who have some of the under-side of the shaft exposed. Enlargement can be significant in those instances.
You also mention upper-body strength. The presence or absence of breasts has a significant influence on how you are able to develop your upper body strength -- but you don't mention the extent of your breast develpment.
In general terms, very high levels of exercise will tend to shift your hormonoe balance towards testosterone domination, keep the level of fat deposition down and increase any tendency towards masculinization while decreasing any tendency towards feminization.
