Default What is to come ?? pcos and hysteromerty

Hi. I am 35 soon to be on the 13th, and feel like 80 lol. I have concerns about PCOS. About 1 1/2 yrs ago I had a full hyster from endo and ovarian cysts. Fought the pain of all that for several yrs proir. Even went through the Lupron shots to just pause me for surgery. I hear every body that has had a hysterometry how good they feel. I am still waiting to beable to say that. I had one of those I dont give a **** obgyns, I ment something till my goods came out kindof doctors. Later on lucky enough found a wonder doc. The reason for my search of a new doc, was my hair loss. Severe, acne, tired, I figure the patch I was one wasnt the one. He took his blood work, and found pcos. Placed me on Premarin now. I go back to him this Monday the 12th. Its been 3 months since my last visit with him, and my hair - o my .. I am really worried. Chin hair, acne, waist gain, crankey, so sleepy or cant fall right to sleep. What do I expect from all this. I am really new to this disease, and just now have really started buckling down on my research, Am I in the right direction with a obgyn. I hear so much about endocrinoligist. I have no insurance, and a single parent of 2 beautiful boys. I just want to be one of the few that can finally answer back - I am glad I had a hysterometry, and I feel great. I want to feel good again, I want me back. Will that happen? Am I gonna go bald. Whats with my blackouts. Had it happen 3 times right b4 I got sick with the flu, well 1 time for each time I got the flu. Is that contention. I almost think I was healthier b4 my surgery ... Plz respond with whatever could be useful to me, Ty sincerely, Christina

From what I understanda full hyster means you are thrown into menopause. I'm not familure with the meds. you are on, but I'm wondering what you are doing to help regulate your hormones? Women in menopause often take meds or use natural stuff to regulate hormones. Menopause symptoms include the things you mentioned except the blackouts. I don't know about that. Menopuase usually causes night sweats, body/facial hair/ thinning head hair, loss of bone density and increased risks of other problems. The thing is that PCOS symptoms and menopause symptoms can overlap and cause a lot of problems. Have you been tested for diabetes? Inuslin resistance? Are you on HRT?

Welcome to SC. even women that have hysterectomies have symptoms. the black outs sound like you could have some sugar issues. You probably should see an endocrinologist.
