What are the consequences of going back on BC for a couple of months? Hi! After many, many rounds of various pills, I am taking a break (since I'm moving to a new city I didn't want to be in the middle of injectibles). Since I have been on NO hormones, I have noticed more and more of the symptoms of PCOS (mainly depression, weight gain and acne). I want to go back on BC for a month or two to even out my hormones so I feel like I have some control over my life until after I move and finish up my travelling (having my wedding in Taiwan in May!)
My question is this- does anyone know if it will hurt me to go on BC for a bit? I don't want to start over with the fertility treatments and just need to get through the next couple of months. My doc is out of town for a while, so I can't ask him yet & thought I'd see if any of you ladies out there in the same situation had ever gone back on BC for a while.
Thanks so much to anybody who has any insight at all!
Jennifer
