 What to do about cystic acne
I am currently waiting for an appointment with an OB/Gyn for a prescription for Metformin. This will take about 6 months but in the meantime my doctor will not prescribe me antibiotics (or anything which actually works) for my cystic acne. It is really frustrating cos I never get periods on my own so the chance of me getting pregnant is pretty low and it is not my fault that we have to wait 6 months for an appointment on the NHS but still I am not allowed anything to help. I just have to put up with it and the scars.
So it's really getting me down. Does anyone have any ideas? I've seen Carley's recommended on this site but does it really work with boils?
