I thought over the weekend that I had the m/c already. When I went to the ER last Wednesday my beta dropped to like 67. I've had the cramping and backache since the weekend so I POAS. It was the clearblue digital and it says pregnant. still. Do I just have to wait longer? If I had the m/c on Sunday like I thought, it wouldn't still show pregnant would it? I started BCP thinking it had already happened. Do I stop those? Must this drag out further .

I would continue to take the BCP's. When I had my 2nd m/c, I had a D&C and took BCP's immediately after. My betas were still in the 300's and my dr said it was ok. So I would continue to take them. But you may want to call your dr just to make sure that's what he wants you to do.

I'm sorry... I'd definitely call my Dr. Those digitals shouldn't be picking up that small of an amount.

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
I agree with all the ladies here. I would call your doctor and if you haven't had an u/s, have him schedule you one. When you miscarried did you pass much tissue? I didn't pass much with mine but I did pass some. Lots of (((((((Hugs))))))) to you, I'm so sorry your having to go through all of this.

I had to correct myself. My beta was 67 LAST Wednesday. If it's supposed to divide in half every day.......is that right?.....it shouldn't be high enough to be detected I wouldn't think? I keep making an ass out of myself cuz I get my hopes up, ya know?

I think if that were the case, I'd definately call your dr. I don't think you should have started BCP's until your beta was at 0 which they should be checking.
