Angry What Do I Do?!!

Hi all!
I've posted a couple of times about the success I am having with herbs and natural progesterone cream. Well, here's my dilemna.... I have not been DX with PCOS yet but, I have some symptoms (excess hair, absent periods, moodiness, used to have acne real bad and took meds for). Well, went to the dr yesterday to hopefully get some help in dxing me. The minute I explained how I was taking herbs to induce a period (first one in 6 mos) hopefully help for ovulation my dr completely freaked out on me. She bascially said I'm wasting my time and I will NEVER get pregnant this way. Keep in mind that she refused to give me another blood test to rule out PCOS because she gave me one in March and it came back as normal (keep in mind I had just came off of BCP in January so, I don't know if that affected the results or not - according to her it would not have). She wants to test my DH's sperm and also make sure my tubes aren't blocked - which is fine by me. BUT, she wants to put me on Clomid to induce ovulation. I am completely scared to take Clomid and feel if the natural approach will work than why not? She was basically a real b**ch! I have already decided to go to another doctor but, I'm afraid that they will all act this way because of my natural approach. I was very excited about actually starting AF this past weekend but, I am now starting to get a little discouraged. I think I might purchase an ovulation detector (if I continue to have a period every month) to see if I'm ovulating. Then after a few months of this and if I find that I am not ovulating then I guess I will look for a doctor? Does anyone think this would be a bad idea / good idea? Thanks for any input.

I think you should do whatever is comfortable for you. If you feel DH needs to be tested then do that. If you are not comfortable with taking clomid then by all means find another dr. This is your body, not the dr's. Buy an ovulation kit and see what happens from there. You can even go so far as to have the dr check for blockage in your tubes. The last time I went to the dr she gave me a prescription for Glucophage even though I told her that I was taking Vitex and Chromium GTF. I just never got the thing filled. I'll just go back in a couple of months and show her that the natural approach is working just fine for me. Remember, this is your body and you need to do what is most comfortable for you.

If you feal you do not want to take Clomid, do not take it! Dr can only suggest things, it is you who must make the decision. And you know your body best, so do what is comfortable for you.
Many dr do not belive in herbs, but same time so many people find help from them. Do a search in this board, and you find sucess-stories.
It is a vise-idea to see for some months, do you ov with herbs or not. If yes, then no reason to go to take Clomid.

It is not totaly to the topic, but I just wanted to tell you my little story about dr and how I belived myself.
I have felt bad about 1,5 years. Went to many dr all told it is because of the stress or PCOS. I just knew there was something els. Dr even told me I have depression and that is the reason I feal like s..t. I was still sure there was something wrong with me. Finaly this august I went and demanded that my thyroid would be checked also my blood-sugar levels. And suprise suprise I am hypothyriod. Have taken the medication for 20 days and already fealing better.
So belive in yourself, you know what is best for you!
