I have been soooooo nauseous- so much that I do not want to eat or exercise!
I force myself to eat so I can take the Met pill- but I am throwing up after every meal!!
I feel so lousy that I haven't been exercising either... what should I do?
On the up side, I got my period after being on Met only 3 weeks! I am happy about that... but at what cost- how long do I have to put up with these HORRIBLE Side Effects??
What do you do to help with nausea? Does nausea stay a side effect the whole time you are on Met?
The s/e will go away as your body gets used to the Met. To try to avoid the s/e, you should gradually increase your dosage. Also, try to stay on a low sugar/low carb diet. Stay away from anything greasy and lettuce, if you don't know that already. You'll be better soon. I just hit my 1 month mark on Met, and I barely have any s/e now. Good luck.

My neasea went away in a week or two, but I have no appetite most days. My FIL is on the extended release and doesn't have any problems. That might be something you may need to switch to.
