Red face What to do with no hormones

I have just finished my first pack of Yaz. I was really bad before taking any meds. In my DHs words I was B*****y all the time. When I got to the white pills I was doing pretty good. The day I had to take the last one in the pack, I was back to being a terrrible person. i hate being like this. Is this something I should expect every month when my body goes through withdrawl? Since women over 35 shouldn't take BCPs what should I do in 1 1/2 years when I'm 35? Just thought I'd ask now so I know what to do. TIA

Alethea

I would give it a few months. Your hormones will probably level off, and the emotions get better with it. If you continue having problems after 3 or 4 months or you have problems with depression, call your doctor.

I'm taking Yaz in my mid-40s. Most doctors don't think the low estrogen BCPs are too risky for women over 35 if they don't smoke or have personal history with blood clots, stroke, or heart disease. You would have to switch to another method.
