I agree w/ Kat. I find my stress is much more manageable when I exercise.
I also use a heating pad at night b/c I tend to carry my stress in my neck/upper back. It sure does relax the muscles. So does a hot bath before bed.

Your Beauty should not come from outward adornment.....instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:3-4)
latley i've been trying to practice 'mindfulness', which is kind of a 'meditation' where you force your body to relax and you concentrate on the here and now and don't let your mind wander to anything involving the past or present. it's kind of hard, but it actually has been working really well for me lately. If you're interested I'm sure you can find more info if you google it or look on itunes free podcasts.
I am stressed a lot but I have heard that doing something physical helps you reduce mental stress and I know when I do exercise I feel a lot better, but about the time I get sore I loose motivation. I think it would help a lot if I was consistent.

Sorry I'm so late on this post! I have always took really long baths (with the lights off just a candle going) with lavender bath salts...that really helps....also I agree with the other girls crank up some good tunes and exercise helps a lot...
this is me...maybe not you but...
I'm not pushing the religious aspect but I also (when I get REALLY stressed and need help) I listen to Joel Osteen on youtube...I'm not a church goer by any means I don't even count myself as religious but he just makes since to me...I got into him after I had my first miscarriage when I needed support to help get thru the stress and pain! lol who knows!
