I'm bad...I eat a granola bar or a yogurt, sometimes oatmeal...but mostly I am rushing, so I get donuts or cookies from the vending machine because I'm dying from hunger /scold me

I've been doing better with soda though...soda is NOT a breakfast drink! I must learn

I usually have a cuppa tea and a slice of grainy bread with a cooked egg on top. The trick is I cook it in the microwave so it only takes 1 minute!!

I like the Heart Healthy oatmeal by Quaker since it's no sugar added. I've also found whole wheat bagels and whole wheat English muffins that I spread cream cheese and no sugar added jelly on.

Sometimes salad, sometimes half a bagel with cream cheese or margarine substitute, sometimes a whole grain cereal (like Kashi).

I tried the Kashi cereal.... its really good! And their Kashi honey flax granola bars are perfectly balanced and pretty good.

Thanks all for your suggestions!

I usually eat a slice of fresh pineapple and cheese. I also sometimes add ham steak to that. I buy the Fricks pre-cooked ham slabs and cook it in the skillet about 3 minutes on each side. Sometimes I eat a bowl of Special K that is mostly milk. I am on the IR diet.

I don't do well with oatmeal (tummy doesn't like it), so I have about 1/4 - 1/2 c short grain brown rice with a splash of soymilk, cinnamon, walnuts and cranberries. I make a big batch of brown rice once a week and freeze individual servings so I can make lunches with it too.

For directions on how to freeze rice, go to http://www.justbento.com

I personally hate breakfast, always have. I would love to just have a cup of coffee and be done with it. I have recently been trying really hard to have a bowl of cereal or some oatmeal. I like the idea of having apples and p-nut butter in the morning. May try that in the morning.

Jenni-O has frozen turkey sausage links that are only 110 calories for 3 links! You can heat them on the stove or in the microwave. I usually have some with a cup of oatmeal with splenda and cinnamon. Or if I have a little more time, I'll make a sausage omelette with lots of onion and green pepper.

I'm currently eating Healtheries Bircher Muesli.

Its very very yummy but I'm never organised enough to soak it overnight so I just add milk and microwave it for 2 minutes and then make sure I chew lots!
If we have fruit around, I'll have some fruit too, but usually not.
