My husband ran accross an article in a magazine and nonchalontly said, "hey, maybe you should try this?" I was just wondering if any of ya'll ladies have given it a try?
or would Vitex work just as well? Since it's ALOT cheaper.
Just feel like DH and I are at a stand-still. Doc has been throwing us around for nearly 5 months... I'm hopeful that our fertility treatments will start in January... but my doctor has the ultimate say.

Well....I know alot of women take this. So I don't want to offend anyone by saying this. BUT I think its a waste of money, IMO. Why? Because if your taking a multi plus additional B complex vitamin or prenatal, your probably getting enough vitamins.
Also, just buying Vitex by itself is incredibly less expensive depending on where you live, etc. Also among knowledgeable herbalists, the effectiveness of dried red clover in pill form is questionable, most I have read up on and spoken with recommend drinking an infusion of red clover blossoms. It is also a phytoestrogenic plant, so if you are doing soy or clomid at the same time, I personally wouldn't as you may overstimulate your ovaries. If you wanted to incorporate Red Clover Blossoms into your supplementation, I would recommend it through infusion basis, as its supposed to be the best absorbed, and most nutritional.
The other items that jump out at me as odd are the Siberian Ginseng, and Ginko Bilboa...
But I'm reserving judgement until I've done more research on these two used for fertility. HTH!

I found this resource on Siberian Ginseng...it seems the big issue is knowing for sure that whatever your taking that says it has that, making sure it really does have Siberian Ginseng.
