Unhappy What do you take for Pain?

I just experienced my worst attack of pain over the past two weeks. I think a cyst must have burst or something. My Doc was dismisive of the pain and gave me ibuprophen 600, which was a joke. Not even tylenlen 3 with codenine (that I had from a previous doc) eased the pain much.

So what do you take for those severe pain episodes?

aw- that type of pain is horrible. I take Co-proxamol when it gets really bad. And a hot water bottle. Hope you feel better soon

My local ER told me to go to the clinic after hours of waiting. The clinic takes 3 weeks to get an appointment. Next time I guess I'll have to call 911 and be taken in an ambulance to be taken seriously. This town is rough.

I read that Ibuprofen and Aspirin can both make the PCOS symptoms worse...it was in 'Zita West, Guide to Getting Pregnant'

I don't get ovarian pain, but for any kind of pain I take Co-Codamol. I don' tknow what its called in the us, but its Codeine and Paracetamol. I also sometimes take Co-Cydramol.
