My Mood: Points: 40,253.30 Bank: 91.36 Total Points: 40,344.66 | what do you use on arm hair? I don't think I ever realized how hairy my arms are until the beginning of this year when I went to see an RE. He asked " do you have a lot of excess hair growth, other than on your arms?" Well, gee, now that you've pointed it out....something else to obsess over! lol
So, I tried Nair facial hair remover (as I was using it on my chin) on a small space on my arm. It didn't fully remove the hair and the pieces it left behind look worse than they did before I touched them. Just curious what would be good to use on my arms? TIA ladies!

I just shave mine when I have a bath. I use a Gilette razor, and Gilette gel.

But I would really rather not do that, I am so afraid it is going to end up badly. I am thinking about waxing, but I would also like a back up way in case I need it and can't get to a salon.
Has anyone used Nair, Veet, Magic Cream, anything like that and had good results?
Thanks,
Katie

So what I do is take a guys electric razor and buz it down to wear it is not that long and no one notices. I used to do the nair thing but then it looked like a dramtic change. So now I just use one of those trimmers that will shave down to like 1/8 of an inch. That way it is still softer and I think it looks better. Good Luck to you!
Sincerely,
Elaine |

As for the age-old, "Does it grow back thicker?" question, I hope to never find out that answer!

I love the way it makes my arms feel. It is the ultimate exfoliation treatment. I bleached for years, but my hair is very resistant to bleach, and the bleach would start giving me this awful burning sensation before the hair was bleached.

Just put it on like tape ( 3 strips each arm) on and ripped it off. There was a few hairs left but it looked sooo much better. |

I have waxed, shaved, but usually I trim it down and then bleach. With a little and I do mean little tan it looks quite natural. Bleaching lasts about a month or two.
