What does border line mean? When my doctor told me that I had PCOS she said it was border line PCOS. What does that mean?

My interpretation of borderline is "just barely". So if my doctor told me I had "borderline PCOS" I would take it to mean that I have a very mild form of it.

Thank you. I guess I was wondering how you can have a mild form of it. I still need to research much about PCOS which is why I'm here.
