What is the earliest Ovulation can happen??

I'm only on cd8 today and have had a huge temp spike and I'm not sick or anything. My cervix has been open for two days now but was low and firm yesterday and today soft and getting higher. As for cm I'm not having fertile cm. It's stretchy, pale yellow in colour, but thick so not like ewcm. I do typically get that kind of cm a few days before the fertile cm. A bit confused about the temp spike though, so I 'disregarded' it until tomorrow. Any thoughts?? TIA.

I guess technically it could happen at any time, but you need the egg to be released at an appropriate time so as to actually create something.

I read somewhere that it can be as early as CD8 resulting in pregnancy. Can't remember where I got the info.

Thank you ladies. I think it's pretty early to ovulate too so I'm thinking it's just a flukey temp today. Guess I'll know more tomorrow. Also, not having ALL my usual pre-ov symptoms like bloatedness and the clear stretchy cm. Might start bd'ing though 'just-in-case' it ends up being an earlier ov, like in the next few days.
