Default What is everyone taking?

Hello ladies!

I was just curious abut what everyone is taking and what it is for. Also, how did you determine what to take? (naturopath, doctor, research, etc...)

I am taking the following:

800 mg Vitex to balance hormones
1000mcg Chromium picolinate to increase insulin sensitivity
1000 mg Vitamin C with bioflavonoids for my immune system and adrenal support
A mulitivitamin with too much stuff to list, because I am on Atkins and it is recommended
1000mg calcium, 400mg magnesium, 25 mg Zinc for cramps when AF visits
Grapefruit seed extract with echinacea and goldenseal because I was exposed to the flu yesterday (I only take this if I need an immune boost)

I saw a microscopist/ naturopath last year in California who gave me some suggestions, but I can't find anyone where I live, so most of these are based on my own research.

I've been taking Soy Isoflavones CD 3-7 and in the 5 cycles I've used it I've O'd on my own. I also take a prenatal vitamin. DH uses Proxeed to try to correct a mild motility problem.

Besides my 1500mg of Met I take:

500mg of Vitex

500mg of Dong Quai

and 1/4 Tsp twice a day of NPC

AF came today after 86 days!!!!!! I was only using the NPC for 3 full days (today's the fourth) and the herbal remedies for 3 days today!

I received my information from SoulCysters!!! Very bright cysters told me about these meds and what they can do for you (i.e. af, ovulate) so I did a little research, went to GNC and WHAM!

Thanks ladies, you're truely awesome!!!

After lots of research on the internet, I am taking:

Evening Primrose Oil 2000mg a day to help with cholesteral and cm.
Femaprin (Vitex 400mg/B6 100mg) 1 tablet a day.
B6 helps with Estrogen and Progesterone balance. I have more Estrogen than Progesterone after ovulation, which causes all of the PMS symptoms.
B-Complex Vitamin one a day to help balance out the B6.
Multivitamin when i think about it.

Hopefully this will be my lucky combination. I am on cd5 after coming off of a clomid cycle. I ovulated on 50mg twice, but the side effects were just too much. Good luck to all.

I am on...

* Vitex - for hormonal balance and AF
* SP - I have no idea why. I've heard it can help with excess hair growth, although I have not seen results.
* Multi-vitamin
