disintegration

I was in the hospital last week for bacterial pnumonia and since then I have been flushing, like I am blushing. My face turns bright red and is hot. Its like I've thrown back a few too many...heh. Is this cause I was sick, or maybe the steriods? Anyone else have this? TIA!

It might just be part of the recovery from your pnemonia, but you might check with a dermatologist for the possibility of rosacea. I was always fair skinned and could blush easily, but the redness and hot feeling on my face suddenly got worse a few years ago. That's when the dermatologist made the diagnosis of rosacea. I contolled it pretty well with a prescription called Metrolotion.

could it possibly be a spike in your blood pressure??..I am not really sure but I know people who have had problems with there blood pressure and they would get really red when it would spike...anyway hope you feel better...Christie
