What I will be doing on the anniversary of Gabriel's birth/death
For the past month, I have been wondering what the heck I am going to do on the day that Gabriel was born last year. It's a Tuesday, so I wasn't sure about going to work. Staying home didn't seem like a good idea either. I don't do well staying home all day by myself. It seemed like a no-win situation. Well, now I know what I will be doing.
Since this is a public board, I am going to be non-specific about the details, but it turns out that I will be heading south for hurricane cleanup! My church is sending me, through an anonymous donor. I'll be gone for about 10 days, and I'm SO EXCITED. I've always wanted to do something like this, and when this last-minute opportunity popped up, I couldn't resist. I will be kept VERY busy making this world a better place on Nov. 15th, and I think it will be the best thing for me.
If anyone wants details, PM me

Adrianne, just wanted to send you my best. If you are willing to share, I would love to hear about Gabriel. I am so sorry you lost your little boy.It is such a wonderful thing you're doing going down south to help out with the hurricane relief. I have relatives in northern louisiana that were lucky enough not to get hit. Also, I live in Warwick. Where in the Hudson Valley do you live?
Adrianne What a truly wonderful way to honor your little angel...i'm so proud of you!! You be careful and take care of yourself...let us know how it goes!!

Adrianne, this is WONDERFUL, what an amazing experience it will be for you. I can't wait to hear the details upon your return. (And I will PM you for details too!)
Thank you all so much! I'm so excited, I think I'm going to burst! I'm still sad about the anniversary of Gabriel's birth, but I'm not totally depressed like I was last week. This is really the perfect thing for me right now...
