prescribed your met? i ask because before i got pregnant i had this OB, who found me IR and prescribed Met. during pregnancy i switched docs and my new OB kept me on it at my request thru about half the pregnancy when the high risk doc said to stop it. anyway, healthy baby born may 21. at my PPM visit i forgot to ask and OB did not prescribe the MET, well i called today cause i feel like crap and i want to get back on it since i plan on TTC in about 8 months. well, my OB said he wanted me to get with my reg doc or endocrine doc to prescribe it.
who prescribed yours???
thanks,stefie

My OB originally gave the perscription, When he retired, my GP continued my care and has been my best PCOS/Met advocate.

My endo prescribed the met for me, but a GP can give it to you...it is a common Type II Diabetes drug. It's just that many of us couldn't get the help or understanding (let alone a scrip!) from our GP's. Any doc can prescribe it, it's just that sometimes convincing them is the problem!
