Question What is the least amount of food you can get by with?

What is the least amount of food any of you have found that you can get by with taking your met? I am supposed to be taking 500mg 3 times a day. I have mostly avoided the issues that people have had by the sage advice from this board on always eating with it. I don't always eat 3 meals a day though (I know, that's bad) I want to know how much is enough????

I'll usually have about 2-3 wheat thins, sometimes with a slice of cheese with no problems. I've also taken it with a couple bites of cottage cheese. I've taken it on an empty stomach too, with a huge glass of water, then ate about an hour later. That was OK, but not the best. I'm finding I don't really eat three "meals" a day, so one dose is with the crackers almost every day.

I find if you take it with something as little as a glass of milk, it seems to help with the upset stomach. I do not suggest eating anything really sugary or rich with it though, or you might just be running for the bathroom!
