It was never a question of whether or not I was going to go to college after high school. The only thing I had to decide was which college was I going to attend.

I honestly think that in today's society, especially living in a big city where I am from, you have to have a college education to compete with everyone else. A BS degree alone isn't even enough anymore -- more people are getting their masters and phds.

I chose college because I wanted to have a secure future. I want to be able to enjoy life, go shopping whenever i want and not have to worry about making it paycheck to paycheck.

couldnt have said it better myself! seriously.

It was never even a choice if I wanted to go or not. It's just the next step of school, just a wee bit harder though..

It seemed like the most natural decision after highschool- and as is said above, a BA or a BSc almost isn't 'enough' anymore.
That and I am horrible at 'trade skills'.
(I'm assuming you are using it in the American sense of college including university?)

I guess so -- just schooling after high school/GED to make it in this crazy world.

I don't guess I'm a person who wants to have the best. I would be happy leading a very natural life and just getting by. I don't mind living paycheck to paycheck. I tend to appreciate what I do have and love what I do have.
