I'm not taking any. Should i ask my doctor for some..what do they do ?

I don't take any long-term medication. I'm on Provera for 10 days, but I mostly try to control my PCOS with diet.

I am on Metformin. I was on BC pills but the doctor just took me off of those..

Im also on metformin and no longer on BC pills to be honest you should ask your doctor what would be the best course of action for you as what works for some might not be best for you
