I had thyroid cancer and have had 3 radioactive iodine treatments totaling over 700 millicuries. Your chances of having other cancers due to this do not increase until you have had over 800 millicuries of radioactive iodine, and even then it is a small increase in chance.
You have no need to worry with just 1 dose!
