Default What Number Are You?

I found this online and I thought it was some what intresting.

I know that when we all look in the mirror at our facial/body hair, we tend to think that it can't get any worse ( I KNOW that I do!) But looking at this chart, on a scale of 1-4 I average around a 2 so I guess that it can ACTUALLY get worse (but lets HOPE that it doesn't!)

Chin and upper lip: 1
Cheeks and neck: 2
Legs: 1
Treasure trail: 1
Butt: 1
Arms and back: hairless
Chest: 4, even though its dark, it's really soft, thin and sparse

I have differences depending on the body area. Overall I think I am a 2 - 3. I just can't decide which.

Unhappy

I remeber seeing a picture like this in a bio textbook in grade 12 in the endocrine unit. When discussing endocrine disorders in women, the class and the teacher were cracking jokes. So the effort the ciriculum made in awareness was lost on these jackasses. I was dead still looking at the illustration of male pattern hair growth as it was identical to my own.
The numbers vary for me too. I'd say below my navel I am a 4, esp the pubic region, butt, legs. Although the hair on my lower back is fine I have alot. I have alot on my chest but it is very fine, except the nipples.
My arms are super fine but there is alot, and my pleasure trail above the navel is just a little less than fine. The chin I'd say is a 3 and my upper lip and cheeks are very fine so not as bothersome, maybe a 1 for the lip. A two for the sides of face because I have lots of beauty marks that sprout hair. So lovely.

I'm different everywhere, but I guess I hover at about a 2.

Siancat - That's awful! I hate when the very people who are trying to bring awareness are the ones who make it uncomfortable. It's like, even though they might know statistically that people in their class may be experiencing this problem, it never actually clicks that they're talking to the people that they're talking about. It's like they think everyone on the class is "normal" and that they're just disccusing the abnormal people "outside." While I don't remember anything specifically hair-related, I do know a couple times I was relieved to hear someone bring up a problem that I too struggle with, because I think that the conversation will bring people to awareness and understanding. All too often, it just turns out that they're making fun of people who suffer from that, and I realize that they're making fun of me to my face without even realizing it.

SJR: Here is the link for the website that I found the information on. They also have a chart for male pattern baldness in women.

well said and very true. i have been guilty of this myself making a comment of someone then realizing i have been insensitive to their own situation.
