I called my Endo today to see if she would prescribe me some provera to bring on my cycle being that iam 53 days late,she informed me to go have blood work in the morning to take a blood pregnancy test before she would prescribe the Provera, Hubby had a Vasectomy 3 yrs ago what are the odds i could be pregnant? i told her nurse i already done 2 HPT both were negative..but she said she had to get the results from blood work? so tell me what are the odds of me being pregnant ..being he had a vasectomy? i just turned 39 yesterday and the purpose of getting the vasectomy was to not have anymore children *L* .......anyone know of someone getting pregnant being their hubby had a vasectomy?

If you turn out pregnant, I would run and play a lottery ticket immediately! Come on!
My gyn had no problem prescibing me Provera after my urine preg test came out negative. Its funny how different each doctor is!
This is the first Dr that has ever asked me to do a blood pregnancy test *L* actually ive never even had a problem with others prescribing me provera without having to take a pregnany test... oh well........just praying that it comes back negative

The only person I've ever heard of getting pg after a vasectomy is my best friend....But this is only because theyweren't paying attention to the DR's warnings and didn't wait the proper amount of time after the surgery before having sex. Adult ADD, I swear! LOL

My brother-in-law's brother got his wife pregnant after having a vasectomy. I believe he had it done 10 or 11 years earlier and it apparently grew back together!
My mother had a friend that turned up pregnant after getting her tubes tied. That's what I call a surprise BFP! LOL

I don't know what the results are i see on the caller ID that my Endo's office called but she didn't leave the results on my answering machine.......oh lord im praying its negative *L*

I know my dad told me his "v" didn't work and he had to have a second one done (we were discussing options for my husband and I).
I also know of someone who had their tubes tied and got pregnant with TWINS!!

Ive have been waiting for my Endo to call me all day....she says the results aren't in from the Doctors lab....i looked at hubby and told him this is the first...........ive always got my blood pregnancy tests back within 2 hours...let alone 2 days..i called them this am she still hasn't go the results grrrr i hate waiting

Its a big fat NEGATIVE *L* thank god! i knew it should be being that hubby had a vasectomy.......went and got my provera filled..........funny thing when i was reading the insert on the Provera it said will cause a absent menstrual cycle.........the whole purpose of taking it is for a cycle....reckon they don't know what they are talking about *L*
