What is Ovarian Drilling & what does it do?? What are its benefits, etc. I have never heard of it... I am not suprised b/c my DR has NO CLUE about PCOS anyhow! I was Diagnosed by a Dr. when I was in South Carolina for 6 months!

It's just as it sounds. It's supposed to help ovulation by reducing male hormones. I had this done when I had a lap last year. I'm not exactly sure why my doc did it b/c I wasn't ttc at the time. I had multiple cysts that were removed and I guess she did this so they wouldn't return. It didn't help though . And I didn't know about the drilling until after I had the surgery. I'm thinking more and more about changing doctors b/c I'm starting to think she's got me confused with another patient. She's always asking how my child is, but I don't have any. Anyway, if you do a Google search you'll find a lot of information on this procedure.
