My Mood: Points: 7,618.12 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 7,618.12 | Jeanny, her name is Dr. Tammy McNab. She is not specifically a RE, but an endo in general. THis is good for me, as the RE's I've contacted won't see me unless I want to get pregnant despite my hormone problems, and the only other endo I could see, disappointed me greatly.
Do you work at RUH?
Marit

Points: 689.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 689.00 | Marit ... no I don't work at RUH I have just been a patient at the clinic for a long time. Dh and I have been ttc for almost 7yrs and have seen 2 of drs at the clinic ... Dr Chizen initially but that didn't work out and due to personality conflicts we had with her we changed drs and are now seeing Dr Payton. Payton is on of the ob/gyns connected with the clinic and does fertility work up to the IVF point. We are currently waiting to see Dr Case (took forever to get an appointment with her .. got in fast cuz of my age and the length of time we've been ttc). However we may not need to see her as I am just days away from POAS and if I am pg then we will cancell our appointment and stay with Dr Payton.
Did the REs at the clinic explain WHY they wouldn't see you unless you were ttc? If not there is really one big and main reason .... they are both so extremely busy that the waiting list for an appointment is 6 -8 months for Chizen and more than a year for Case. The clinic is the only one in this part of the prov and they care for most of the prov's mommy wanna-be's. I hope that Dr McNab (I think I might actually know her ) is able to help you with your hormones and get you on the babytrail when it is time |

I should call there and make another appointment for anytime within the next 6 months! Nice to see other prairie dwellers here...
