Hey I'm on my second round of clomid 50mg. I didn't O last month on it and have been told I won't this month (I should have been on 100mg - see my siggy). I was just wondering what round and dose you all O'd on?? Did you get PG?? Could weight be an issue for not O or is it just 'one of those things'?? Thanks In Advance xxxx

Last month was my first round of clomid (see siggy) and I ovulated. This was proven by an OPK, bloodwork, and AF exactly 14 days later. My dose was 50mg. But even though I clearly ovulated, I didn't get pregnant so this month they upped me to 100mg. Good luck and I'm overweight too and of course losing weight does help with concieving, I don't think it's impossible to get pregnant without being at your goal weight.

I ovulated my first time on clomid and that was just 50mg.I took it days 5-9.I didnt not get pregnant my first round but I did my 2nd round of 50mg days5-9.I hope everything worrks as fast as it did for me for you.Good Luck!

Hi, I'm super new here. I was on 50mg from October through to January with regular periods and ovulation but then it just stopped working. Went back on the provera and tried the 50mg again this month. Just got my progesterone results and its very low2.3 and he says I have not ovulated. very disapointing. Next week I see him and he is putting me up to 100mg. Hopefully I will ovulate and god willing maybe even fall soon after. I had a feeling I hadn't ovulated because my temp wasn't rising at all by day 20. I'm so glad I found this forum and its wonderful to not feel like the only one who has trouble with this. | |

I o'd on my first round of Clomid 50g 5-9 and right now in my 2ww 6dpo. I am really hoping and praying for a BFP next week. Amen and Amen..lol

I have taken clomid twice. Prior to this we tried for 8 years to get pregnant and nothing. (didn't know I had PCOS until 4 years into it) The first time I took 50 mg the first month, 100mg the second month, then 150mg the third month. I got pregnant the fourth month (go figure) and had a son. The second time I started with 50 mg. My gyn told me don't worry about doing anything this month because we just want to start your body doing what it is suppose to be doing. The likelyhood of you getting pg on 50mg is slim to none since it took 150mg before. Well I went in and he did an u/s to look and said there was no need to take 100mg because I was pregnant. Then 5 years later I mc (April 2007) with no use of fertility drugs. Then I got pregnant again no use of fertility drugs and I have a daughter born Jan. 2008. (Three weeks early) Now are family is complete. I hope you have great success on clomid.

I am starting Clomid (100mg) this month CD 5-9. Is the dosage he prescribed common? Seems like everyone else starts at 50mg? Is this going to be a problem? Im so excited it is all I think about all day! | |
