Default What's the deal with baby aspirin?

Hello!

I've been reading some posts from ladies ttc saying they're taking baby aspirin. I'm just curious - what are the benefits?

Thank you.

I've wondered that myself... maybe it gives good *baby vibes* J/k Maybe a post in the TTC forum would get more response. I'll be checking back!

all in all it is aspirin.. in such a low dose that it would affect a fetus. Ok that said, again, its aspirin. Aspirin thins the blood and by doing that, increases blood flow. It makes the lining of the uterus nice and cushy and sticky for a baby. It helps reduce miscarriages for those with immune issues. You stop it befor Ethe end of the 1st trimester but it doesnt hurt to take so many women do it as a preventative. My friend kept miscarrying over and over and was able to carry due to adding in baby aspirin (per her doctor). After hearing this, I put myself on it (doctor knew after I told him I was doing it) and I had a healthy pregnancy. I miscarried right before Hunter but I was taking anything. I started baby aspirin right after Piselli was lost and next cycle was Hunter.

You can google "baby asprin and micarraige" and read up on some stuff.

A lot of people also take Robitusson to help thin out the cervical mucus.

Do you just get a bottle of Robitusson or is there something special that you look for? How often do you take it? Thanks a bunch

You want to get the plain Robitussin. The kind with no extra letters.
