Default what's wrong

I've been feeling really low today not sure what's up. I have nothing to be depressed about. I have a great husband, house, puppy, a ok job and we are in the process of adopting but here I sit about to cry feeling like my life is horriable and I can't do anything right. Is this a part of PCOS?

I remember when I was first diagnosed with depression, everyone kept telling me to snap out of it. I had gotten into the university I wanted, had a great home life, was loved by my family, ..etc.

The thing about depression, is that none of that matters. You get upset and disgusted with yourself for no reason whatsoever.

Have you been feeling like this for very long?

Btw, it is my understanding that depression can be a symptom of PCOS.

:Hugs cyster:

Depression is common in women w/ PCOS. You don't have to have a reason to be depressed! It's truly an illness. My depression is hormonal, I have it mainly just before and during AF, and post-partum depression. Prozac helps me a lot. Don't be afraid to talk to your doc, and take meds if you need it. And of course we are here for you too cyster!

I hope you feel better soon
Hugs
Jenny

Oh and I wanted to say, congrats on the adopting! I'm adopted and so are my two sisters! It's a very positive thing to me.

Best of luck
Jenny
