I have to say I'm loving this. I've been downloading songs and listening and just feeling good. I love all the songs that everyone has listed. They are great. Music is one thing that makes me feel good. I think it's great for the soul.....when I get down, just singing a song can make me feel better. Music is wonderful.

My husband likes that song "The Old Man Is Dead" but I can't remember who it's by...Maybe Del Way.?????

I like that one song "Mercy Seat" also. I have many favorites. It's like pringles, It's hard to choose just one.

I hope everyone is having a good day. If you've already posted and know some more good ones or ones you've heard today that just touched you, post'em. I love downloading them and listening to them.

    Love,

    Thumbs up

Lisaaellis post reminded me of my favorite FFH song. It is called "One of These Days".

Some other favorites of mine are the "older" Audio Adrenaline songs such as "Get Down", "Underdog", "Mighty Good Leader", "Hands and Feet", "Good Life", and "The Houseplant Song", which is hillarious! All of these are from Audio A's Underdog CD, and I highly recommend them!

The song that I LOVE right now, is by Third Day "You are so Good to Me". Anytime during the day that I feel down, I can hear that song in my head and turn on the radio and there it is.

When I had mc#1, everytime I hear Mark Schults "Rember Me" it made me so sad, not only for the mc but because our first fur baby died 1 week later. I still cannot listen to that without crying.

For mc #2 - "Shout to the Lord" I like the Hillsong version best. A girl sang this song in church and I just started crying. It was right after that I found out I was pg.

There is a local artist that has a great song "So Beautiful to Me" and the words are:

You made the gentle breeze the mountains and the seas; you hung the sun and moon/Then you created me precious and unique, before my mothers womb/I could never hope to pay for this priceless give of my redemption/You've already made a way for this/You already have, you already have

How could you be so beautiful to me/How could you give so totally for me/When I am honest with your majesty I fall on my knees

And so on and so on. You can listen to part of it at www.graceinfo.com. It has a really soft melody which makes me think of babies. OH, she was pg when she recorded the song but didn't know it yet. This song is part of my Rock. If you want to rest of the words, just pm me.

I would like to share my Rock: Prov. 18:21; Gen 49:25; Ps. 139:13-16 and Ecc. 11:5. I hope they bring a rock of strenght to you - if it be a time of joy or sorrow.

My favorite would have to be "Three Wooden Crosses" by Randy Travis. It brings tears to my eyes and makes me shiver everytime I hear it. A good place to download music for free is http://www.kazaalite.nl/klite_en/ There is no spyware or adware. It is a great program and you can find everything from music to software. It is still free like naptser used to be and they are going through the legal hoops right now so I don't know how much longer it will be free.

I have a version of the song "Be Still My Soul" by Russ Taff. It has really helped get through a lot of tough times, especially with TTC.

I really like the song I can only imagine. But he also has a new song out that I love. Of course I can't think of it or any of the words. I am always a fan of praise and worship. I love to put it in and sing along. I always feel better after singing.

I would have to say that right now my fav is I can only imagine, but my all time fav would have to be Watch the Lamb by Ray Boltz. It's an oldie, but I still love to listen to it. Another oldie that I love is Lazareth, Come Forth by Carmen. I saw him in concert around the time this song came out (forever ago) and watching him perform this one on stage was breathtaking.

I also love ANY Third Day song. They are great.

this may be a stretch but... "Unanswered Prayers" by Garth Brooks. I listen to that when I am upset about life (not getting what we need) and it puts things in perspective. If anyone needs it, e-mail me at Baygirl@optonline.net and I will mail it to ya. It truely is a great song!
