My PCO's was diagnosticated 5y ago, I didn't get any special treatment, except laproscopy + hormonal treatment to get pregnant. Now I've moved to another country, so now I got new gyn. We are not in so good contact yet, so I had no treatment offers, just US for my ovarius.
I would like to check my condition and also do the tests for "side ilneses" as diabet etc.
I think maybe I could run test without prescribtion, but what I should take? Regular blood sugar, some hormons (witch), what else?
You'd need to go to a doctor to test for the main things, however if you have a glucose meter you can test your fasting blood sugar. Don't eat or drink anything for 12 hours (other then water) and test. I think 60-90 is normal, and it's either 100 or 120 and above means you're diabetic. It's been a while since I had to worry about my sugars, so you'd have to read your manual. Of course some meters measure completely differently, so read the manual. I think this is really the only test you can do on your own.
A doctor would order your A1C to confirm diabetes. It's best if you haven't been tested for things in a long time, you should go and ask for them. Most doctors will test you for whatever you ask for.

If I were you I would goto a doctor and request a complete check. Usually they check Thyroid, TSH, T3, T4, estrogen and progestrone and Prolactin Levels, along with that some would also order an Vaginal, Pelvic and Ovarian Ultrasound to see if there are any cysts formed and regular lipid profile and glucose and basic metabolic panel.
I just don't feel, that the doctor I have now is interested in solving y problems (and maybe she even isn't really competent about PCOs).... And I don't know how to get another doctor, as I'm in other country, medical system here is totaly different, I'm living far from big towns... ech
I don't know what to do.
I get treated by a gyno for the reproductive part of PCOS, and an endocrinologist for the internal medicine part of it.
I found some people who lived in my town and asked them what doctors they go to (they had PCOS) and if they were happy with them, because at the time I wasn't happy with mine. (I was gaining weight, getting more unhealthy and the doctor was like "yeah whatever, see you in a year!")
Since you're in Norway you may find that a lot harder to do, especially if you live from a far town. You may end up having to take a train into a larger town for treatment. Visits are usually once every 3 or 6 months so it isn't too big a deal. It's definitly worth your health to think about it.

It's clear, that I have to take a train. I even know the nearest hospital/clinic I can get advanced help, put I don't know how to chose the doctor. One I wisited in summer didn't seemed really interested in my problems...
Probably I have to take all my courage, go to local (primar) doctor and ask for advice. Just... i'm affraid, that my problem woun't be theated significant (lik, so, what? PCOs isn't deadly, and you don't wwhant to get pregnant now, so why are you here )
Call each doctor if you have to and find out what experience they have in treating PCOS then pick one.
