am 19 and am size 18/20 this is the biggest i have ever been. and am trying so hard to lose the weight but its going no where just now i want to lose weight for my friends wedding in july 2009 so thats my target am a bridesmaid so i dont want to be this size then hope to lose atleast a few stone but anything would be a bonus my weight is also around my stomach which i have heard it quite common in pcos suffers
i'm 19 too and i feel your frustration with weight loss. my doctors have told me to lose weight and eat low-sugar/low-carb like they thought it was easy, but if only they could see us struggle!! not sure how to convert stones to pounds but my goal is to get to my lowest by March 2009, so if you want to be in this together, i'm all for it
I went to the doctor on campus last week because I passed out the night before. She asked me if I was dieting, what meds I was on, etc and felt the need to tell me that when you have PCOS you can't expect to get down to something as small as a 12 or 14...I then proceeded to tell her that's what I am right now and reading all of your posts just proves my point even further. It's definitely possible. It was SO frustrating...I got pretty angry after that...lol. Anyway, ranting...but I feel better knowing that she was dead wrong.
BAD doctor! PCOS comes in all shapes and sizes! I'm an 8 on the bottom but a 10 on the top (I have the PCOS belly for sure but it's shrinking slowly!)

My body is really...unique haha.
I'm 17, and I generaly wear a size 11 Juniors (good ol' wal-mart skinny jeans, it's pretty much all I wear lol)
But I can also fit into my friends size 8...
I think it's partly because I get my wide hips from my mom, and I have large bones. It just depends on how the hips of the jeans are made.
I also wear small or medium shirts.
My body is pretty average, even though I weigh 168. I have a lot of muscle build too.
It's just those dang "love-handles" and my arms.
Before I was diagnosed with PCOS, I was a size 9 (I still have/fit those jeans, but I get a muffin top haha) and I weighed 145. I was quite thin though.
I would like to get down to 150, and fit my 9's comfortably again.
I'm a size 18 presently, and I'm currently losing weight. The smallest I've ever been is a size 12. I'm naturally big boned and I love it. But it is necessary for me to lose weight due to the PCOS. Good luck everyone!!
