hi, i read on 1 website about skintags but its not mentioned in all articles about pcos. what exactly do they look like? i think i may have a few on my chest and they tend to increase if i eat high carb for any length of time.
I don't have any skin tags...but i'm in nursing school and our current unit is on skin disorders....so, skin tags are merely a raised portion of the skin, which just sorta hang out. They can be as large as a pea, but I'm sure they can be larger than that, from what I've heard. They are benign, so you don't have to worry about cancer and they're pretty harmless, unless you want them removed for cosmetic reasons.
Hope this helps a bit!!

There is a thread around about how people have tied them off with thread and or hair to cut off the blood supply and kill them. It works! I had one on my back that I had someone tie off....it just turns black and falls off. No pain! Now if I can only get at my DBF's....muwhahaha

I used Freeze Away wart remover and mine fell off in about 3 days. I've gone to the dermatologist before and he basically did the same thing...froze it.
