HI. This is my first post here. I am yet to be diagnosed with PCOS, however, I am getting the blood tests done on Monday because my doctor suspects it. Anyways, I was reading over some of the posts and noticed a lot of people talk about having "skin tags." What exactly does that mean?

They look like little moles but you get a lot of them around you neck, on your eyelids, etc. Welcome to SC! You will love it here!

Thanks for the quik reply. I have those things! I always wondered what those were, I thought they were moles.

Well I am only 20 years old, is that too young to be diagnosed with PCOS? I have always had VERY irregular periods. I am currently on my 3rd month without one. I have a tilted uterus, cysts on my ovaries, hair in random places, acne on my chin, sometimes on my chest. I have been diagnosed with Panic Disorder/Depression....

no 20 is not too young i was Dx when i was 17 so the earlier the better because you can try to fix your body for your future
i have skin tags on my eyes neck and underarms and pretty much all the symptoms you stated are what most cysters have so YOUR NOT ALONE

I was actually just diagnosed with pcos and had never even heard of it before. I've had all the symptoms since wow I was about 12 or so. I have skin tags under my arms and chest and neck and never thought anything of them, always thought it was normal until now. I'm only 18 and I thought it was young until I started reading some of the stories here.
