Has anyone been successful in using supplements or natural remedies instead of Metformin? If so, what did you use?

Cinnamin - I haven't used it, but there's a thread (**Cinnamon and Vitex gals**) for women who take it instead of Met.

Cinnamon, Vinegar is another that is used as an alternative. I know there are tons of threads on both of them.

I did DCI (www.chiralbalance.com for info & purchase). Got first normal AF in 2 years, and bfp on 3rd cycle. Meanwhile lost weight & acne. Met did NOT work for me and made things 1000x worse.

Gymnema Sylvestre. There is info on it on here or you can look it up on the web. I took it for quite some time, but it didn't help me. Come to find out though it just wasn't the right thing for me. I have heard many good things about it though. Good luck!
