Default What are the symptoms of having a Thyroid problem?

I have been having some funny feelings in my heart, like a fluttering feeling, and the other night, accompanying this feeling was a feeling like I had a chord around my neck just below my chin and ears. Not painful, just like a choking, throbbing feeling. Some one said it could be thyroid related? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It's possible --

Check http://thyroid.about.com for some really good basic "starter" information. Don't let it go, though, if you do have a thyroid problem, you should get it looked at as soon as possible.

Default me too!

Ive had that fluttering ever since I can remember and the choking thing is relatively new. Those are signs of low thyroid levels. Beside about.com, you can also check out www.wilsonsthyroidsyndrome.com especially if your thyroid tests come up in the normal or low normal range yet you have thyroid symptoms. Good luck to you, Zeo
