Default what symptoms you had before you were diagnosed with hypo

Hi Ladies,

I would really appreciate if you could give me some information about your initial symptoms.

I have couple of hypothyroid symptoms,I have checked my tsh for hundred times and its alway in the normal range.

however its been 2 month that my hair is shedding ALOT and its not only my scalp,I'mlosing my eyebrow too.I dont know sth weird is going on with my body.some hairs on my body incl eyebrow is very fragile and weak I can pull them just with my hands.
scalp hair is dry and I've noticed most of them are thin babyhair which I never had them before.

I did I the hormonal blood test and androgens are fine except for my progesterone was very low.
All I can say is that sth happened since 2 months ago and all I read about hairloss and eybrow is THYROID

so really I'm confused my GP doesnt care at all she didi TSH and was fine.T3 and 4 was done 5 months ago and she just won't listen to me for another test.
I'm not even over weight ,I cant figure out if its my thyroid or not

Miss, here is my reply. Hi, I stopped taking sawplametto because it interacted with a medication. After I stopped taking it, 2 months latter my top hair fell out but I tried dying my gray hair for the first time for gray hair/ dye. Now thinking about it sawplametto might be the cause. Normally I've got thick top hair. Oh it also caused my body to produce happy hormones at weird times example if I was getting annoyed. Stop taking it and I would give it 3 months for your hair to regrow. It's probably the sawplametto. If after 3 months more falls out, it could be a under active thyroid.

oh thank you so much....
I was going crazy.I jsut couldnt believe 19 pills would dosth like this but I was sure it did sth to my facial and body hair since they got really fine and super blonde.the same thing happened tomyscalp hair all baby blonde hair.
I read somewhere that sawpalmetto acts like chemotherapy for people who have normal testosterone.

here is the article:
http://www.appliednutriceuticals.com...ro_issue_3.pdf

"Due to the 5 alpha reductase (or 5-AR, an enzyme that allows for the conversion of
testosterone to DHT)-inhibiting properties of saw palmetto, healthy men who have noncancerous
enlarged prostates should steer clear of saw palmetto because saw palmetto works in a
manner similar to chemotherapy drugs by destroying healthy prostate cells along with mutated
ones."

this articel talk about men but I guess it woulddo the same in healthy women with normal level androgen
