Default what tests should i ask for when i go to the doctor

i am not diagnosed with pcos though i have a great number of the symptoms.

-excess hair suddenly
-acne
-bloodshot eyes
-dry skin/with bumps

my period is fairly regular, however, and i don't believe i've ever missed one in my life. though a few months ago when all these symptoms starting appearing, i was experiencing spotting. but that has since stopped. i still sometimes feel a dull discomfort in my pelvic region in what i'm thinking corresponds to the ovaries. sometimes it's on the left side, sometimes right.

i have hypothyroidism, as well.

i haven't had insurance for a long time, and i'm about to get it in a few weeks, so i'm planning on going all out on what ask far as far as tests and diagnostics when i go in for a physical.

i'm 26 years old. approx 135 in weight and 5'8".

i am wondering if you were gonna go in to a doctor's appt and ask for the most thorough testing that you could, especially for possible pcos stuff, but also regular stuff like vitamin, cholesterol, sugar levels and that ilk, what would you advise i should ask for in the appt? never had most of the basics. just the thyroid level testing over the years.

I see an endocrinologist and get my blood drawn every two months. Here are some of the labs I get drawn and are helpful to seeing my progress (currently taking glucophage).....

LH, FSH, progesterone, estradiol, prolactin, glucose, cholesterol, testosterone, insulin (if fasting), SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin), Androstenedione, thyroid levels (but you are already aware of your thyroid condition)

Remember that your hormone levels vary depending on the time in your cycle that you get the labs drawn. Your doctor will be able to interpret your levels.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
