I guess I should start by saying that I have no faith in doctors.
I was 12 when I started seeing doctors about my symptoms, every last one of them, I have. However, they never diagnosed me until I was 18, had been through three and specifically asked them to take all tests needed to see if I had PCOS or anything else.
I am going in to see a new doctor, who specializes in this sort of area, I have looked over my old test results and am unsure where to go from here.
I know I need a new set of tests for this new doctor to read, considering I haven't been in for testing for about a year. (Since my gallbladder tried to kill me because the doctors wouldn't listen when I said I was in pain, because I was too young to be exhibiting signs of an issue about such a thing. *grumbles*)
So, since it is a new doctor, I think it would save lots of time if I called and requested that we have some tests done prior to my first visit so that we have something to go off of.
What tests should I request though?
I need to be tested for diabetes again.
My hormone levels. (Androgen especially.)
I'm going to have my annual lady tests for the first time.
What other tests might my fellow ladies suggest?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
