Default what time of day?

What time of day do you take your synthroid or other thyroid meds? I started synthroid a month ago and I'm all over the place as far as when I take it. I think me not taking it at the same time of day is causing the s/e's to be worser (my hair is falling out like crazy) I know they say you have to take it a while before things get better. Does any one have any advice? Also is there anything I can do to counter-act the s/e's?

I've been taking mine in the morning when I wake up for years, but I think I might switch to the night time because you're supposed to wait an hour until you eat right? Because I eat about 30 minutes after...I wonder if that's making a difference for me? But I think you should try to take it at the same time, at least that's what my endo said

In the am before you eat is usually recommended, I wake up, have it beside the bed, take it before I shower and Im done, no side effects or anything!!!

I take it in the morning about 45 minutes before I eat. Different doctors tell you different amount of the time to eat. My honest opinion is - Just do what ever you do at the same time and the same way everyday. If you wait 40 minutes to eat, do it that way all the time. This way when you go back to get your blood tested your levels are what they are everyday and will be adjusted to your lifestyle.

Oh I think a couple weeks and you should start feeling better if you are on a good dosage!
