I highly reccomend the Clearblue digital. It gave me a BFP with the same FMU that gave me a BFN on a dollar tree test.

I believe dollar store tests have actually been one of the best!

Metformin 1500mg/day
Clomid 100mg CD 4-8

DD was conceived on CD45 after giving up on 100mg clomid and not taking provera like I usually would have while TTC. I now believe that PCOS can slow the body's reaction to hormones like clomid. WAIT TWO MONTHS before starting another cycle of clomid!!! Don't give up too soon, give that little baby a chance to implant!

I really think it is different for everyone. I had already had a BFP on a Clearblue digital and a positive beta...I want to say it was two more DAYS until I had a positive on a dollar tree test, and even then it was super light. In the future Ill never use dollar tree tests. They played with my emotions too much!!

I would say it depends because I had the first line on a dollar tree test, but it was so faint I didn't trust it - even ticked someone off on this board who thought I was rubbing it in to be a jerk, but after hundreds of BFN over seven years I wasn't able to believe it until I got a reasonably dark line on the FRER. The dollar trees were soooo faint my husband thought I was crazy. The FRER was unmistakable (though still light) but I still didn't believe it until the doctor confirmed it.

I only had a CBE and internet cheapies in the house when I POAS on a whim (I was only 11 DPO and wanted to wait). I got a definite BFP on the CBE, but BFN on the internet cheapie. It was about 36 more hours before I got a faint BFP on an internet cheapie.

I have heard/read over and over and over that the First Response Brand is usually always reliable for early BFP for an HPT. Good luck!

I'm a member on another forum and this question always seems to come up!! AE by far is the one that women love the most plus they are half the price of an FRER. I personally like $trees as well, except they give off horrible evaps. So my vote would be AE!!

I really really love Wal-mart's Equate. It's cheap and I have never had an evap or a false positive or negative. You can buy 1,2, or 3 test. It's compared to the ept. The test would come up + before the control line came up.
